Four rounds.
One clever afternoon.
We’ve got 2.5 hours from first question to final outrage, with proper breaks for food, refills and meeting whoever your friends brought along.

Bring your team.
Or we’ll build you one.
Teams play in groups of four or five. Come with old friends or come on your own—we’ll make the introductions, and you may leave with new ones.
4–5players per team
Coming together? One captain signs up the full team and adds every player’s name.
Coming solo? We’ll handle the introductions and place you with a team.

1,500 EGP for.
WE’RE ALL CHIPPING IN
Everyone chips in 1,500 EGP so we can set up the quiz, keep the ice and snacks coming, and have the beach looked after.

Real glasses. The civilised way to guess.

Please do—that’s part of the point. We’ll introduce you to a friendly team of four or five before the quiz starts.
02What does the 1,500 EGP cover?+
It’s your share of the afternoon: four hosted rounds, setup, ice, glassware, the crew keeping things flowing, and finger food.
03Where exactly are we meeting?+
Nautilus Beach in Somabay. We start at 3:00 PM.
04Do I need a full meal?+
Nope. Finger food is already in the shared pot. A full meal is optional and can be added when you put your name down.
05What should I bring?+
Your smartest friends—or just yourself—plus whatever bottles you fancy. Confidence is optional but entertaining.
06Who’s putting this on?+
Brainwave is a small Somabay community experiment, with our friends at The Bored Meetings hosting the first edition. Just people around the bay making a very good afternoon together.
